The Chefs behind the blends
This product line is the brainchild of brother-sister chef duo, Michael and Marlene Bernstein. Both are trained chefs with respective catering companies based in Los Angeles. What started as a desire to help friends and family make cooking more approachable turned into a new business to supply everyone with tools to create their own chef creations with the use of fragrant, flavorful spices.
Chef Michael is a culinary graduate of the New School of Cooking and owner of his own private catering company. He is also a man with many passions, the first being the study of history. He is a total trivia junkie and you can often find him on Tuesday nights battling it out for first place at the local pub. He loves cooking both at work, and meal prepping at home. Living in west LA, he has the advantage of being close to the beach and enjoys bike rides to various famed coastal communities in Los Angeles. He’s also been to roughly a dozen states and would love to see the rest; as well as all 7 continents!
Chef Marlene received her culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu in Los Angeles over eight years ago. Since graduating from Le Cordon Bleu, she has launched multiple food-based companies. Most recently, she has worked in corporate catering feeding the tech companies of silicon beach, and nurturing her creative side by developing recipes for various companies featuring their products. When she is not working, you can find her exploring her next dinner party idea, running to catch the next dance class, planning her next trip abroad, or grappling with which business she plans to launch next.
